The River City 18 inch Owls and Bird with Nest Cuckoo Clock is an eight day mechanical movement clock with owls and a bird with a nest. Two large wooden weights drive the time and cuckoo. Hand crafted with wood from the Black Forest in Germany. It sounds once on the half hour and the full hour on the hour. A night shut-off mechanism disables the cuckoo during sleeping hours. To wind your clock, firmly pull the free ends (ring ends) of the chains to raise the weights to the base of the clock. Eight day clocks need to be rewound weekly.
