The River City 16 inch Seven Leaves and Three Birds with Nest Cuckoo Clock is an eight-day mechanical movement clock with seven leaves and three birds with nest. Two large wooden weights drive the time and cuckoo. This clock is hand crafted with wood from the Black Forest in Germany. It sounds once on the half hour and sounds the full hour on the hour. A night shut-off mechanism disables the cuckoo during sleeping hours. To wind your clock, firmly pull the free ends (ring ends) of the chains to raise the weights to the base of the clock. Eight-day clocks need to be rewound weekly.
