The River City 13 inch Moving Birds Feed Nest Cuckoo Clock is a one day mechanical movement clock with moving birds that feed their young in the nest. Two small wooden weights drive the time and cuckoo. It is hand crafted with wood from the Black Forest in Germany. The clock sounds once on the half hour and sounds the full hour on the hour. The night shut-off mechanism disables the cuckoo during sleeping hours. To wind your clock, firmly pull the free ends (ring ends) of the chains to raise the weights to the base of the clock. One day clocks need to be rewound daily. It is also available with hand-painted flowers and white finish.
