The beer drinker raises his mug and the waterwheel turns for the cuckoo call. Three small wooden weights drive the time, cuckoo, music and dancers. It is handcrafted with wood from the Black Forest in Germany. It sounds once on the half hour and the full hour on the hour. A night shut-off mechanism disables the cuckoo during sleeping hours. To wind your clock, firmly pull the free ends (ring ends) of the chains to raise the weights to the base of the clock. One day clocks need to be rewound daily.
