The Hekas 17 inch Traditional Hand Painted Chalet Quartz Cuckoo Clock is battery powered. The clock features a traditional hand-painted chalet with water pump, tree, and flowers. The cuckoo bird comes out of the door and flaps its wings for the cuckoo call. It electronically cuckoos the number of hours at the top of the hour. It is hand crafted with wood from the Black Forest in Germany. Night shut-off levers allow you to turn off the cuckoo and leave the time-keeping portion running. Weights shown in the image do not function, it is used for decoration as the clock runs on batteries.
